  1. Personal coaching for smart, strong women.
  2. Speaking at women’s conferences and corporations to support women at all stages of their development: beginning, middle, and late-stage careers.

Additionally, I will work with organizations to create or expand their programs for women in their organizations.

Marcia Reynolds speaking to group of women

Women around the world have formed groups at work to work through exercises together from my Wander Woman: How High-Achieving Women Find Contentment and Direction. This demonstrates an opportunity to support top-talent women. There will be an exodus of high-achieving women in the companies not actively engaging them today. I say, “Engage your top talent today or you will be struggling to retain them tomorrow.”

Here is a brief description of the book:

Wander Woman: How High-Achieving Women Find Contentment and Direction by Marcia Reynolds, PsyD, is the first personal development book focused on the needs and desires of high-achieving women as opposed to the general population of women.

Based on the Dr. Reynold’s doctorial research and decades of coaching smart, strong women, Wander Woman found a growing population of women in business who are confident in their abilities and continue to stack up the accomplishments, but at the end of the day they are discontented, disappointed, and exhausted. As a result, they focus on their next job more than what is possible in their current positions.

Once the readers clearly identify their challenges, the bulk of the chapters in Wander Woman provide practical exercises, powerful questions, and case studies to help the readers make better choices for themselves and their lives.

Chapter 8 presents three case studies: one woman who wants to move up the ladder, one woman who wants continual challenges and great projects without being promoted, and one that wants to explore moving on. The chapter presents how they were coached to make good decisions and to determine what development they needed to maximize their career growth.

Chapter 9 details what women can do to help their leaders understand what high-achieving women need to be satisfied on the job, and how organizations can meet these needs so they retain, grow and promote their top-talent women.

Wander Woman Book 3D cover

Wander Woman is a great compliment for any program focused on developing women and increasing the diversity in the ranks of senior leaders. When organizations present the book to their women and create support groups of women to work through the pages, they increase loyalty among their smart, strong female employees who will feel more understood and recognized.
